Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen wants to stay at the club and is prepared to turn down the chance to join Burnley.
Chelsea have accepted a deal that would see the full back join the Clarets on loan with an obligation for them to buy him for £13.5m including add-ons.
The Blues agreed after Marc Cucurella's proposed move to Man United fell through, leaving them with three left-backs.
