Jeremiah Trotter Jr. doesn’t feel any extra pressure to live up to his dad’s Eagles legacy

The Eagles waited until pick No. 155 but they eventually got their guy, drafting legacy LB Jeremiah Trotter Jr. out of Clemson. He spoke to reporters shortly after getting the call, and is excited and grateful for the opportunity.

Trotter said it feels great to be drafted by the Eagles, and talked about this all coming to fruition given his father’s legacy in Philly.

“It definitely means a lot to be able to play, you know, come in and continue that legacy, and just try to help out the team anyway I possibly can.

I’m a hometown kid and Eagles were always my favorite team growing up, so it’s definitely great to be able to play for them and just have the opportunity that I have.
